Life Revelations: Prologue: Kearia Polarstar Version A knock is heard on Kearia’s bedroom door as she lifts her head up from the pillow. She pulls up the bed covers as she says “Come in”.
The door gently glides open as her mother Sakura Polarstar stands at the door. Sakura walks into the room and sits down in a chair to look at Kearia. “You feeling okay Kearia?” Sakura asks her daughter with a bit of worry in her voice.
Kearia nods slowly and says “I’m fine...” She sits up and then asks her mother “How is Syn doing?”
Sakura sighs and says “He’s doing fine...” she then takes a deep breath and says “Look Kearia... what happened back there? Why did he put your life in danger?”
Kearia looks to her mother and says “ ‘HE’ didn’t... his was in danger so I went to help him... the enemy just happened to be stronger then I anticipated and caught me with a cheap trick...” before she turns to look at her mother from underneath her bed covers.
“So... you went to protect him... so does that mean you love him?” Sakura says straight out to Kearia as she watches her daughter
“No. I don’t love anyone... he is just one of my good friends...” Kearia replies as she keeps a straight face. I’m sorry, but I can’t tell you that yet mother... Kearia thinks. “Mother, tell me who was Hellfire Necromancer D-Crystaline?” Kearia asks wanting more information.
“He was a grave enemy of ours... that’s all you need to know...” Sakura says simply. She takes a deep breath as she questions how to word what she is about to say. “Kearia... I want you to stop chasing after Syn... you are going to get yourself killed, and I won’t want to lose you.” Sakura says calmly.
“Get out mother...” Kearia says as her face changes from the emotionless one to an angered one as Sakura stands. “Get out of here before I incapacitate you even worse then Serafina was by Rowin...” she says coldly.
Sakura just walks to Kearia’s door and says “Whatever...I still forbid you to let him in here... goodbye for now Kearia, and eventually you’ll know why.” before she walks out of the room and the door closes behind her.
Kearia just grumbles as she turns to her side and covers herself with the blankets as she lays to rest for a while. |
